Original part or quality compatible part?
For battery and keyboard, the same rule applies as for iPhone — a quality compatible part is more affordable and reliably functional. For SSD or RAM upgrades we use verified components compatible with the specific model, never the cheapest unknown parts that could cause system instability.
What happens to your data
Diagnostics and common repairs (battery, keyboard, cleaning) do not touch your data. For an SSD replacement or more serious board-level work we recommend a backup beforehand — if the laptop’s condition allows it, we help you do this on site.
When a repair is not worth it
For models that no longer receive current macOS updates, or when the cost of a logic board repair would exceed the laptop’s value, we recommend considering a replacement. During diagnostics we tell you the real situation honestly.

On older models yes. On newer ones (M-series) memory is integrated — we advise what makes sense and what does not.
How do I know if my battery is worn out?
In the Apple menu → About This Mac → System Report → Power you can see battery condition and cycle count. macOS usually also shows a “Service Recommended” warning directly.
Can a MacBook that fell in water be repaired?
Yes, especially if it reaches us as soon as possible after the incident. We disassemble it, clean the board and components, and test functionality.
